Excellent service. My car had unexpected emergency issues and I just happened to be passing through Shelbyville on a trip. They were recommended to me since they’re known to be capable of working on Volkswagens. Very glad Tom’s was the place I was guided to because they were very thorough with discovering the core issue, they took the time to show me and clearly explain what was going on, and made me feel confident I was leaving my vehicle in capable hands. Even though I live over a hour away I returned for their service especially since they honored the warranty on the second occasion and still provided the same level of care and thoroughness. They provided me with great advice for the next possible need my car has. Tom’s literally solved issues the dealership I got my vehicle from never even knew or pointed out during previous servicing. It was refreshing to feel like Tom’s cared about my predicament and provided educational advice.

Before calling Tom’s, I had called multiple other places around town to see about getting a diagnosis for a water leak only to be met with bad attitudes and attempts to just shuffle me off onto the next person. Zach (I believe was his name) at Tom’s was incredibly nice and was willing to get me in immediately for a quick look. He was just a genuinely good and decent human, someone who seems to truly care about the work he does and the people he meets. So thankful! We will certainly be bringing our vehicles back here for servicing in the future.

Been going to Tom since 2015 and when Rob took over I knew I found my trusted mechanic, never tries to upsell and will get you back on the road with safety and reliability. Love the new shop and crew and encourage anyone within an hour drive of shelbyville to trust that this is worth the drive

I live in Michigan over 300 miles from Tom's auto clinic. Over the last eight years I have had five different vehicles serviced by Robert and prior with his father tom. It is an inconvenience but I would never go any other place. You can not put a value on integrity. It's the best. But please don't tell anyone or they will be to busy.
